I work out in ICAD and my car sits in an open lot all day, so the front end is already looking rough from all the dust and small stones kicking around. I've been thinking about getting PPF but I really don't want to drive all the way to Dubai for it if there's a decent shop closer to home. I was reading up on the process and came across a mention of Premium installation standards followed for cars near ICAD, which made me curious if that's actually a thing or just marketing talk. Has anyone here had film installed in that area? I'm mainly worried about whether the smaller workshops do proper prep work like claying and polishing before applying the film, or if they just slap it on. Also, how long did they keep your car? I was quoted two days by one place but a mate said his took almost a week because they were backed up. And did anyone have issues with dust getting trapped under the film during installation? That seems like it would be a real problem out here. I'd appreciate any recommendations or warnings before I commit. Thanks.
